The Lord Can Carry It
Whatever burden lies on your shoulders,
The Lord can carry it.
Whatever heaviness sits on your heart,
The Lord can carry it.
Whatever longing makes you ache,
The Lord can carry it.
When the bridge breaks,
The Lord can make a way.
When pulled in by the tides,
The Lord can help you rise.
When you drown in sinking sand,
The Lord offers His hand.
When you’re split at the seams,
The Lord always redeems.
Whenever trauma paralyzes,
The Lord will carry you.
Whenever grief pulls you under,
The Lord will carry you.
Whenever hope gets deferred,
The Lord will carry you.
He will carry you all the way through.
