The Gospel: Faithful husband, Wayward bride

The whole of Christianity is simple. It’s about relationship with God. It’s NOT about religion to appease God.
The Gospel is about Jesus’ unconditional love for His often unruly Bride.
A parable of the Good News:
In those days, an adulterous unruly Bride was to be stoned to death. A just blood punishment. But her faithful Husband cried out, “No! I love her too much! Take me instead. I’ll take her place.” And He did.
And that’s what happened on the cross. Jesus cried out, “No! I love her too much!” So they killed him instead of His Bride, and by his innocence, he paid the punishment of death that we earned.
What we didn’t see coming is this… The Faithful One Jesus was raised on the third day from death to life. He conquered death and hell!
And now His wonder-working, powerful blood washes us clean, heals us, sets us free, and makes us whole. If that’s what you need today, call on the name of Jesus. Because this is a promise He will always keep:
All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved!
The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Call on the name of Jesus today. And He will set you free and make you whole!
