The Fear of the Lord: Blessings and Benefits

The fear of the Lord is the prerequisite to wisdom. It aligns our hearts with the Lord and not man. When we aren’t looking for the fleeting approval of others, we are able to walk our path in courage and peace. When you live your life fearing God and not mankind, the God Who Sees You will reward you, lead you, and protect you. Tomorrow, I’ll share a prayer based on Scripture for the Fear of the Lord. But it seemed like a good idea to explain why you’d even want to be in prayer for that first. So here are some of the benefits and blessings of fearing the Lord. My favorite of which is [friendship with God]!
