Prayer to Break Daily Curses
The power of the tongue is greater than we know. We often curse ourselves and our loved ones unknowingly, because we don’t understand the power of what we say. Speaking negative or hopeless comments over a situation is one form of a pronouncing a curse over ourselves or those around us. But the power of life and blessing is also in the tongue! We can speak life over ourselves and those we love and this is powerful!
My friend Nicole Williamson, founder of The Healing Place, sent me this prayer she wrote to break daily curses. (I modified it slightly.) Wow, it’s short and sweet and packs a punch.
I encourage you to print this off and keep it by your bedside. May you be victorious!
Breaking Daily Curses
In the name of Jesus, I break every negative and harmful word or curse that has been spoken to me or my family, by me or my family, or about me or my family.
And I command the causes and effects to fall null, void, useless, inoperable, and dead to the ground.
I cancel every witchcraft assignment against me and every member of my family in Jesus’ Name.
I plead the Blood of Jesus from the top of my head to the soles of my feet, over me, around me, inside me, and between me and the enemy.
And I speak life and blessing over myself and my family. I pray You will fill us with the Holy Spirit, be a Shield around us, and lead us as we follow you. Bless us with health, strength, wisdom, and loving kindness.
