Daily Forgiveness Prayer

Something I love about the Body of Christ is that people from different territorial regions learn different insights in how the kingdom of God operates on earth. I’ve been exceedingly blessed with mentors from nearly every content. I’ve marveled at the different strengths they all have and I’ve observed their similarities in their teachings to me on prayer, deliverance, and victory in Christ. One thing that is always common is the importance of forgiveness. So today, I’d like to offer a daily prayer of forgiveness from my dear friend Nicole Williamson.
Daily Prescription
I keep this by my bedside along with the Breaking Daily Curses prayer she gave me. Think of it like Advil. When you get a headache or something is bothering you, you take something for it. When there’s something in your soul or spirit that is bothering you, pray through these prayers.
One thing that keep back your own deliverance or your own ability to be forgiven and healed is unforgiveness. That’s why we talk about it so much here at Power and Purity. We cannot operate in full purity of hear nor power of Holy Spirit if we are harboring unforgiveness.
Unforgiveness is like a dam that holds back God’s forgiveness to us and the ability to be healed, set free, and delivered. So making sure you don’t keep a record of wrongs and making sure you forgive quickly and thoroughly as God forgives you will keep that connection between you and the Father open and healthy and vibrant.
I encourage you to go back through the archives here on Forgiveness if this is a practice you know you need to develop. Forgiving someone for hurting you actually helps set you free from them and their wounding.
Forgiveness Prayer
In the name of Jesus, I choose to forgive as I have been forgiven. I now choose to forgive ______. I release any right I have retained to bring revenge. I release them from my hands and place them into Your hands, Jesus, my Just Judge. I break every curse I have sent to them, knowingly or unknowingly, and call forth blessings to them instead. Thank you for the grace to forgive and the power to live in freedom.
This prayer was slightly adapted from the prayer given to me by Ms. Nicole Williamson. She’s the founder of The Healing Place, an inner healing and deliverance ministry. Ms. Nicole is an apostolic teacher, life purpose coach, minster, and author. Nicole’s books include: Mantled for a Kingdom Purpose: Understanding Your Identity in Christ for Life on Earth, Breaking the Silence: Taking a Stand for Life, Liberty, and All Things Good, The Believer’s Identity Devotional Handbook: 120 “I am” Statements of a Christian, and more. You can find more about her ministry and books here at KingsLantern.com.
Til next time… Toodle-loo, and Peace be with you.

If you want to walk in full forgiveness and the full power of the Holy Spirit, here’s a prayer to ask Jesus to wash you clean and lead you in a new life.
