A Prayer to Anoint Your Hands

Father,

Thank you for your loving kindness. Thank you for your good plans for me. Thank you for inviting me to partner with you in bringing your kingdom to earth.

They say, “Who can ascend the holy mountain of the Lord? He who has clean hands.”

Lord, please give me clean hands. Wash over my sins, regrets, accusations against me, and condemnation from the enemy by the blood of the Lamb. Wash over me and make me white as snow.

Take my hand in yours and lead me and guide me. Comfort me and show me the way by the leading of your hand on my life.

Anoint my hands and anoint the work of my hands. Let the beauty of the Lord be upon me, and establish the work of my hands. Show me how to work for you Lord, and not for man. Let me fear you alone. Teach me to use my hands to work for the kingdom of heaven, with eternity in mind.

Anoint my hands with healing. Allow me to lay hands on the sick and bring healing in Jesus’ name. Pour out your Holy Spirit over me and anoint my hands to see signs and miracles and wonders, for the glory of your Name and for the Lamb’s reward.

Anoint my hands with both gentleness and strength.

I think of your hands today, Jesus. Nail pierced hands. I bless you and the finished work of your hands today.
