A Prayer for Power & Purity
Father God,
You are holy, good, and true; Make me more and more like you.
Make my heart pure and purify my heart’s desires. Wash me clean as snow. Refine me as fire.
No more fear. No worry. And no distrust. Because you are Love and Peace and you are just.
Purify my eyes from what I’ve seen. Purify my ears from what I’ve believed.
Forgive my mouth for what I’ve spoken. Give me clean hands and heal what is broken.
Wash me clean. Wash me clean. Hide me safely under your wings.
Fill me with the power of Holy Spirit today. Give me holy boldness to walk in your ways.
Give me mercy for the broken; power to heal the sick. Anoint me today and pour it on thick.
Minister to my heart and encourage me today. Help me bring heaven to earth as you teach me to pray.
Bless me so I can be a blessing. Increase my faith to endure trials and testing.
I want to be like you: generous, gracious, and kind. May your ways always be on my mind.
Lead me and I will follow. Wherever you go, I will go.
Lead me in power and purity today. In Jesus’ might name I pray,
