A Blessing to Break Free
May your healing come as swiftly and unexpectedly as the trauma you’ve faced.
And may the light of Christ rise and shine on you so brilliantly that darkness flees.
May your healing spring up speedily. May God’s light shine upon you.
And in your crushing and in your healing, may the Lord anoint you to set the captives free from the same bondages you’ve been freed from.
I pray you care for the suffering and needy. I pray you walk in justice and mercy.
I pray you stand up for what’s right, and sit down with those who are in sorrow.
May God’s righteousness go before you and may the glory of the Lord be your rear guard.
May He hem you in on every side by the power of His unending love and the comfort of His wrap-around presence.
I bless you to be set free in Jesus name. Because whoever the Son sets free will be free indeed!
May you break free! Fully and completely.
