My Work Here is Done

The Lord calls us to big assignments that feel beyond beyond our ability. And that’s usually when we know He is in it! He likes to make the odds impossible in the natural so that He can do the supernatural, and “add His Super to your natural” (as my old Pastor Brandon Cormier would say.)
In the last year, the Lord called me to do not one full time impossible feeling job, but two of them! At the same time. One felt like a living Bible story of my own and another felt like a call to break open the heavenlies when He asked me to start this new blog and write for a number of days straight.
His charge to me: “Equip the saints to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and in purity of heart.” And He directed me that new wine needs new wine skins, so in truly supernatural ways, I created this new website. When I asked Him what do I call it, He whispered, “Power and purity.” I was like, “Lord, that domain name is probably taken. What do I do then?” And I heard in my spirit, “I’ve been saving it for you.” Well, he sure did! And here it is!
I have a lot of reflection to do on this season. It’s been a living example of how when God gives you a vision, he brings the PROvision. When He calls you, He equips you. And how when he calls you to it, He’ll walk you through it.
At Power and Purity, I’m grateful for this time we shared, remembering testimonies of miracles, healing, guidance, signs and wonders.
And appropriately, after all our stories on perseverance and faith, today I’ll share a prayer for how to end well. When we complete an assignment from the Lord, my prayer mentors, Ms. Jane and Ms. Quin, taught me how to end well. So I want to share that with you today.
There’s power in fulfilling an assignment from the Lord. And there’s power in ending it.
So simple as this may be, we just trust God’s mighty power through our simple prayers.
A Prayer for Completing an Assignment:
Lord,
Thank you for entrusting me with this assignment Thank you for all you did in me as I completed the work you called me to.
Now my work here is complete, and so in the name of the Lord, I cut myself off from this assignment. And I entrust your Holy Spirit to carry on the spiritual and supernatural work that only you can do.
Bless the work of my hands and what I completed. And now bless the work of my hands and what you’re calling me to next. I put my hands to the plow and keep plowing forward.
Thank you for leading and guiding me and thank you for allowing me to partner with you in Kingdom work.
In Jesus’ name, amen
Til next time… Toodle-loo, and Peace be with you.

If you want to walk in full forgiveness and the full power of the Holy Spirit, here’s a prayer to ask Jesus to wash you clean and lead you in a new life.
If you decided to give your life to Jesus today, please let us know so we can share in your new joy! And seek out someone in your area who loves Jesus and walks in humility who can help show you the way.
If you have any questions, you can drop in comments below. That’s what I’m here for!
