A Prayer For Your Voice

You have been anointed to preach the good news of Jesus. You have power of life and death in your tongue. Your thoughts voice your heart, and that matters. So today we’re going to say a prayer for your voice. Because what you have to say is powerful and needed. So I am saying a prayer for your today. A prayer for your voice to return and to bring life to others and yourself.

A Prayer for your Voice

Father, I lift up my sister in Christ today to your throne. I thank you that you are the God who speaks and still speaks today. I thank you that your Word is alive and true. And I thank you for designing us that the words of our mouth will be the overflow of my heart. So I lift my sister to you today.

I know that you are the God who Sees Her. You are the God who loves her. Your delight is to rescue her.

Silencing the Enemy

I also see the serpent around her neck trying to gag her voice. And so I come against that enemy and that assignment of the enemy, and I break it off in Jesus’ name. I declare that no weapon formed against her voice will succeed. Whatever terror or trauma or lies of the enemy about her worth… whatever is causing her to be silenced, I bind and muzzle that darkness instead. I command you to flee from her by the authority of Christ. Go to dry arid lands where you will not prosper and do not return.

Power to Speak Life

I declare she will speak. And her words will have creative power as that is how she was designed. To partner with you, Father God. You created the heavens and the earth with your voice and you put that same power in each of your children. As your daughter, she will partner with you and no longer will curses and doubt and bitterness flow from her mouth. No. Her tongue will be waged to bring peace and blessing upon her family, herself, those she meets, and even her enemies. By the power of Holy Spirit working in her, she will speak life and not death. She will speak blessing and not curses. She will release forgiveness and not withhold mercy. My sister in Christ will be a gentle-loving and power-talking woman who loves others with her voice. She will not be silenced any longer.

May her voice be set free in Jesus’ name. May she renew her strength in your love for her and know your unconditional loving kindness for her so deeply that the overflow is a voice that praises, honors, and worships you. And may the overflow of her heart, the hope and peace and joy you have given her, may it overflow out of her mouth like rivers of blessing.

She will use her voice and proclaim:

“God led me to a place of safety;

he rescued me because he delights in me.”

–Psalm 18:19

Peace-Talking

I declare that my sister in Christ will be a peace-talking woman who brings comfort and grace to those around her. She will speak in the authority of Christ to bind the broken-hearted and to comfort the afflicted and to set the captives free and to bring healing to the sick. I declare that her words will be saturated in grace and sprinkled with the salt of truth.

We bless your name, Father. We praise you for being so good to us. And we praise you for your faithfulness to us. We thank you for your forgiveness and your mercy. We ask you to make us more like you and to use our voice to bless your name and bless others.
