A Blessing of Hope
When things feel upside down and the future appears darker than bright, may you be filled with new hope.
A Blessing for Hope:
When you’re weary and worn out,
may God strengthen you like a wild ox with His anointing oil.
When you are falling apart at the seams,
may God hold you close and hold you together.
When your mountains crumble,
may you know God’s unshakeable Love.
When you’re fresh out of faith,
may you find that God remains faithful anyways.
When your future seems bleak,
may the Light of Christ rise in your heart and give you hope of brighter days.
When you’re lonely and without community, family, or friends,
may you find comfort and companionship with God.
When the weight of the world feels heavy and downcast,
may the wrap-around presence of God lift you up and lift your chin.
When you are bone tired and soul exhausted,
may you trust in God and renew your strength and soar like the eagles.
When you want to give up hope,
don’t.
May you be fortified in your inner being to know God’s love for you,
to believe God’s plans for you are good,
that brighter days are coming,
that the sun will rise again tomorrow,
and that flowers will bloom in the desert.
